Default 2007 Mustang V6-Weird problems, maybe my gears?

Okay I have two really weird problems going on with my car as of lately. I have a auto tranny btw.

1) Past around 70ish MPH, my car starts to whistle like a tea kettle - yes that is the only way to explain it. I hear a High pitched whistling sound, which gets really annoying. No, it is not my intake whistle, I've had this before my intake installation and recently started to do this. I also hear my front(right?) suspension squeaking too at these speeds.

2) When I am at cruising speeds, and when it shifts in the highest gear and cruises at the lowest RPM, at some certain RPM's when I lightly accel I hear a loud GRINDING noise or like the engine is about to die..

Any input on what the hell is going on with my car?

Tough to say. Does it whine on acceleration and deceleration or both?

Stock gears? Does it sound like it's coming from the rear or the transmission?

Stock rear end, stock 3.31 gears. I can't really tell where the sound is coming from but it does kind of sound like it is coming from the tranny.

I've heard of the autos doing that. Did it just start?

The grinding also sounds like it's coming from the transmission?

It sounds like it is coming from in front of me, not behind me. Could be the tranny or the engine, I can't really tell. It is a loud grinding noise only at a certain low RPM's

Might want to have your trans fluid levels checked. There's no dipstick so it has to be checked from the transmission.

That would make sense, but the car only has 12k miles on it. Don't you start checking that stuff after 50k miles?

Unless you have a slow leak somewhere.

Could that also cause the whistling noise or do you think something came loose, allowing a small leak of wind noise?

Check your alternator and accessory drives to make sure you don't have a bearing going bad?
