Default Scratches on my pony T-T

well i hav had this car since last year of nov. and im loving this baby. the previous of owner of my car totally messed up everything and did not took full resposnibility to take car of it. so basically now i hav a lot of scratches on my car. i got scratches, swirls, and i want to get rid of them.

how do i get rid of these scratches and swirls?? i kno there r formulas at auto stores. can i trust them? do they work?

If they're just in the clear coat, you could have them buffed out.

meguires scratch fix 2.0 and a buffer do wonders to the car, i had a huge gash in my hood where a rock took out my paint to the sheet metal i put some bondo sanded it lightly used touch up paint and the scratch fix and it blends in almost perfectly with the car!

+1 for meguiars scratch x (black tube at auto store), it takes a lot of rubbing, my arm got very tired, but the scratches came out. It did leave swirl marks, which i still havent fixed
