Default Steeda Ultralite Cowl Hood

im looking into one heck of a summer for modding my car and one of my goals is a new hood. after research and looking at my options, i think iv decided on the steeda untralite cowl hood. i think itll look really nice, expecially on top of an x charger. so does anyone have pics of this hood on there car or anyones car for that matter? id just like to see a few more to get my mind off the price tag. also any other suggestions are appreciated. thanks.

All quality hoods are going to be pretty damn expensive lol. AM has good ones too, incase you haven't checked those out. The stock hood is light as it is, although with the extra air induction from the cowl and its lighter weight, its obviously better.

It basically comes down to if you have around $700 do you think that should be the next add-on or should it be something else. Steeda is a damn good brand so i wouldn't worry about the build quality, and if you got the money and want that over any other modification i say do it up man! I've never seen anyone with that particular hood but im sure it's damn good.

Im not too big of a fan of it, but its your car. Just keep in mind your gonna have to pay probably around $500 for paint and install, and you have to get new stripes. If I were you I would just get a hood scoop instead. Athough, a new hood does give your car a mean look.

I agree, if you didn't have stripes then i would say go for it but now your either going to need to get new ones just on the hood or take them off still either way your losing money.

i think it looks really cool! but i think you can find somthing that u will stick like alot for a lot cheaper!
check out Cervinis! they will even paint it for you! wayyyy cheaper!

i really like the C-series hood and the 2.5 inch cowl hood (very simliar to the Steeda hood)

yea i like the cervinis too. might be cheaper. BUT i have a buddy who owns a custom shop here in town...i help him out every now and then so he told me 200$ and he'll paint it and re do ALL of my stripes. only thing i haven't decided yet is if it look ok with stripes or not. i hope its wide enough to apply the same size stripes that i already have..or bigger. this is going to be a late summer mod though...iv still got a few other things on my list *cough cough* 8.8 and x charger. therefore iv gotta bite the bullet on the 8.8 and order it next week(i know i keep pushing it back a week) but ill eventually get it all done as planned.
