Default door window issue

I have a 05 mustang, the driver window started going back up after you open the door and then when you shut the door you have to push the window in to close the door. Is there a switch or something inside the door, the passenger side is not having the problem just the drivers side

Um.. what is the problem? it sounds like the window is doing what its suppose to do. They go down about a 1/5 or less of an inch and then when you close it they go back up

It sounds like his is doing the process in reverse, the window should be down a little when the door is open, then go back up when closed, not fully up when open. There is thread here somewhere on how to reset the windows. I don't know how to do it, but it has been talked about here before, so if you search for it, you should find it.

Look right here for the "window reset procedure:"

My windows weren't going up all the way after closing the door, which isn't quite the same as your problem, but it worked nonetheless. This started happening after I disconnected the battery during a fuel filter change.
