Default alternate tire sizes for factory wheels

Hey guys, silly question but how wide can you go on the standard alum wheel for the 2006's. The std size is 215/65/16's. I am just thinking about going to 60's. Pretty sure it will be ok but just want to make sure.

The first number is your width in millimeters (215). The second number is a percentage of the first number, which determines how big your sidewall is (65 or 65% of 215 which is roughly 140mm). The third number is your rim size.

But back to your original question, the widest I was able to talk Discount Tire into putting on my car was a 235. I went with 235/60/16 to keep the sidewall as close as possible, but they're a tiny bit bigger, not to the point of being noticeable.

i also went 235/60-16 on the rear, but only because thats the only other size available in the bfg spec tire. they are a fuzz taller and wider. i stayed stock size on the frt
