Anyways I was going to get a custom striaght pipes with flowmaster 40s or the pypes kit? Whats better performance and sound wise? I just want opinions I dont want to sound like rice

i heard some clips on you tube with straight pipes with mufflers and it gives a raspy sound at mid rpms and up if oyu go wiht an h pipe you will get a deeper sound

#1 on the h-pipe.I done a 07 V6 last week with Gt take-offs,true duals.It was a bit rough sounding until we installed an h,then it sounded good.

well the pypes kit comes with the x pipe...is there an option of a H pipe?

im not sure about the pypes kit but you can pick up a universal h pipe from jegs.com for 42 bucks or just ask the local exhaust shop to make a custom h pipe for you

i dont know, but the h pipe and gt takeoffs i put on sound great. a deeper lower note quality without the excessive noise. the v6`s if your reving it in park,hard, make a undesirable rasp when you back off the gas. under load however, they dont. there are so many options, its take a chance on whatever you choose. mine has no hint of rice-a-roni, i`m glad i went h

+1 i say go with gt take off cat back exhaust with the gt mid h pipe or check this h pipe out from jegs.com its what i put on my mustang and i love the sound JEGS Universal H-Pipe Kits - JEGS
