Default Exhaust rattle American thunder axleback

Just installed my flow master American thunder axleback exhaust.
the ring clamp that they gave me was retarted. I cranked down on it all the way. and there was still some minor play between the stock exhaust and my new part. I drove around a little. at first it rattled quite a bit. then it stopped. Im thinking that once the pipes heated up they expanded and got tight which stopped the rattle. Im also thinking about getting a bead weilded between the axleback and the stock exhaust. is this nessessary?

Any help will be appreciated

thanks

yes weld it
if a shop put it on for you ask to have it welded. most shops woud to a FULL WELD! not a tack and THEN RUST PROOF PAINT IT for $20 ish.
