Default 2005 mustang v6 mod questions?

hi, im picking up my 2005 mustang v6 on monday and have a few questions.

i was thinking of taking it off the dealer lot straight to shop to get a procharger installed on it. i already talk to the shop owner but was wondering should i wait and add other mods first. another question is if i do decided to add the supercharger first whats the recommended psi for a stock v6. it has about 16000 miles on it or do the miles dont matter. thanks guys or women for the help

From what I have seen on the posts it is likely that your first mod should be 3.73 gears and a Tlok then the procharger. I don't think it is necessary but it would be a huge benifit. Considering the cost of a supercharger you should consider adding those in with that mod. Congrats on the mustang and welcome to the forums. I am sure that someone with a lot more knowledge will pipe in soon.

welcome to the pages! pick up some 373s a t loc and a bearing set, as well as a dual exaust set up. have them put in at the same time, because you need a tuner to correct teh speedo on the car, and most chargers come with one

personally with that car i would get some 4:10 gears instead of 3:73. they would give you car better racing performance. if you want to wait maybe two years or so before you procharge it you might want to consider cold air intake and a tuner, i would recomend BBK cold air and Diablo Sport tuner.
