When I purchased the 05 Mustang it had windo louvers already installed. I am not too crazy about them and would like to have them replaced. They are stuck on using tape (no bolts or screws). Does anyone know how difficult these are to removed? Any suggestions? What are the chances I will damage the paint in the process?

Soft plastic like a bondo applicator and goo gone stuff will be safe for the paint. Also WD-40 works on the old glue, just be patient getting it all off so you don't scrape your paint.

i hate to say this, but gm makes a awesome adhesive remover. its about 15.00 a qt. oreillys has it, as does a gm dealership. but it will last you for years. it will cut and dissolve the stickum stuff, wont hurt the paint, it will hurt some plastics, but it will remove any and all wax you get it on. if those are cdc louves, i`ll buy them off you.
