Default gas smell :(

i have a 2007 v6 mustang and recently when i drive i smell gas. today was the first day that there was actually a drip under my car, under the drivers side was a small puddle of gas/oil. i am going to get it checked out tomo as well as an oil change but want to know something about it before i go so i dont get ripped off. any ideas or suggestions

under the drivers side is where the fuel filter is located.There might be a possibility of a leak from there. Replace it and see...or take it to the dealer and have it inspected,Under warranty??

is it on drivers side front middle or back?

i have yet to find some one else who when changing their oil ( every 2000 miles or when they get bored ) details the under side of their car.

X-C April 2010,Heads, Cam,Internals April 2011, or blown engine, witch ever comes first.

closerto the front along the inside of the body rail,which is covered by a plastic shield

its not mine that leaks,,,

there are only two ,maybe three, places where the filter can leak.
front fitting or back,if there is a seam then maybe in the middle.
does that answer the ???

thanks guys! i took it to a place today and it was the fuel filter. thank god it was an inexpensive fix
