I just scored a GT500 bumper in my color already, from a ford dealership in Las Vegas, that has some smal blems, so was removed to put on a perfect one. The blems are going to be not even noticable with mere touch up paint.
Get this...... $30 + shipping. It came to like $106 after shipping to Seattle. I am litteraly on cloud nine right now. He has like 5 left in different colors, unsure what the blems are on those, but he gladly took pics and sent them to me within a few hours of me contacting him.
Anyone looking to convert their 6 over to a 500 look, jump on this one, it is a no-brainer.
Just look on c/l right now in Las Vegas for GT500 parts and the listing is still up as of today.
Oh and BTW, I called the number the guy called me from and there was a switchboard operator at the ford dealership that put me through to parts. The guys name is Jon, and he never answers his phone, so leave a message and he will call you back.
Here is a pic of the bumper I just STOLE from these guys
SHWEET!
Thats a steal, good going. You know you have to change alot of stuff to get it to fit, right. Anyways good deal, I can't wait to see the final product.

That is an excellent start to your conversion. Good luck with the rest. (If you haven't used it all up with this part)

I am a consumate craigslister, and e-bayer, I'll find good deals on at least the big ticket items in the next 6 mos, and sell my foglamp grill and install my stocker back on. I'll nickel and dime it until I have it ready to convert, then spend a weekend goin crazy, and post some pics as soon as the bleeding knuckles stop. I can't wait. I hope some of the other guys on her looking to do the same, can jump on this deal while it lasts. If you can manage to get it allready in your color, that is a HUGE money saver. I figure with the retail cost of the bumper cover at near $350 and prep and paint esstimated at at least 3-400, I have a savings of at least $700 so far over what it costs most to do this conversion.
Man, I want one so bad. They have a black one, but I just can't justify the expense since I just spent a pretty penny on the gt kit. You found an excellent deal, your car will look awesome once it is done.

Sweetness. Glad I could help a botha out Any nasty blems? or was it pretty clean?
Idk it its a reflection, but it looks to me like there's an enormous dent right in the front of the bumper, where the "point" is.
I hope it looks awesome man! Can't wait for you to get it!
I was thinking the same thing, but then looked at all of the colors and they all had it, the individual pics the guy at the dealer took for me were much more clear and showed it is in better than fair condition. There will be less scratched on this one than there allready is on my 05 v6 one Its gonna take me a while to round up the other parts tho, I still have I figure around $6-$7 hundred worth of parts to buy to complete this project. Probably not gonna happen till late summer, or even possibly next spring with taxes.
Here is a pic of my new $30 bumper mocked up into position by my ankle biters.
yours looks pretty clean... yea sorry i didnt respond earlier. i had no internet.
but yea mine has some scuffs but nothing bad.. im just gonna have to take it to a body shop to get it painted becuz the bumper was black and my car isnt black haha
Its gonna take me a few months to collect up the other goodies, but I am pretty sure I'll get there before Aug. I thing I'm gonna spring for the flat black superstripe at the same time, and do the bumper and superstripe in one weekend. Can't wait.
