Default Convertible top drainage

It's that time of year here in the Great White North........blossoms from the trees are falling all over the place. I can't leave my car parked in the driveway with the top down or it will be full of crab apple blossom petals. Which made me wonder: where does all the stuff that gets stuck between the convertible top and the body disappear to? I've tried to scoop it out with my fingers, but I always lose some of it down into "the black hole". I'm worried that this crap is plugging up a drainage hole down there somewhere. Does anyone know? Is there a better way of cleaning this junk out? I don't want to cause some corrosion down there because of drains holes plugged up.

There is 2 drains, one per side at the back sides behind the quarter windows, near the trunk. These drain out the bottom of the quarter panel near the rear marker light...Below is a pic of my 07 Convertible with the lh quarter removed. The blue hose is the drain tube.

Thanks Alan,
But you didn't have to take your rear quarter off to show me!
I guess the only way to clear a blocked drain line would be to blow it backwards with an air gun. It's easy to see how they could become plugged. Something to think about..............

I just replaced my quarter due to an acident last month, I thought it would provide a good pic for you to see the actual drain hose. LOL
