Wow. That actually looks killer. And it doesn't look like side skirts are required to pull it off. Know how some just don't look right without a complete kit. I wouldn't mind getting one. My concern would be that I'm lowered. It seems the chin is the same height as the rocker panel. Is that correct?
Your stang looks sweet you should upload pics in your photo gallery. Btw I have Hector's chin spoiler and it is the best appearance so far I had, it completes the front end. Since your car is black you can get the unpainted chin and not to worry about it look chipped scrapped, they are very durable. I got mine painted so I have to be extra carefull, check out his gallery on prev page that he posted my car is the grabber orange and his is the black one (same as yours).
It won't be too much trouble even lowered when your carefull on parking it (I hope your not like those "women drivers can't park" video I see on YouTube jk )

Here is a picture of my stang lowered. Thinking that chin would look nice. What do you think?
hello goofiechic,
like venom800tt said most of our cars are lowered with the chin spoiler. you do have to pay a bit of more attention when driving over obstacles..I can assure you that even if it scrapes it wont fall off. it is well secured to the fascia. I can cut you a deal on the painted version if you like. check out more cars at Pictures by hmartine - Photobucket .PM if interested
You V6ers this is the way to go imo. Easy to install with basic hand tools and straight forward instructions. If you can turn a wrench you will be fine. When you install it on your bumper its not going to fall off. Your bumper will fall off before the spoiler
falls off. It is durable and it looks great yet to boot.

Thanks. I'll try to get some pics up the in the gallery. The chin does look killer. I've been more of a visual type of stangaholic. Just as you said since mine is black to begin with going with unpainted wont be an issue. It will match the unpainted rocker panels.
And the parking. I usually back into spots. Even speed bumps I get nervous with but so far so good.

the splitter and the unpainted rockers are a very close match in color and texture. I had thought of going w/a satin silver paint on the rockers, but after installing Hectors splitter I'm glad I didn't.
And the splitter isn't too low, we've had zero problems with it. Ours will actually just barely clear a parking lot stop, as long as the rebar isn't protruding. But my wife is a good driver and is always aware of steep ramps and knows how to park. But that splitter is TOUGH, I wouldn't worry about it like alot of people have to with fiberglass parts.

I was hoping the two-tone color scheme would tie the rockers and the chin together. Hector did a great job on the spoiler, painting it, and installing it.
here is the latest - Tom's piece heading to Germany this week with a painted trim piece only in the signal orange color - one of my favorite colors. super cool!!!
