Default help with headers

Alright like the title says i'm having trouble deciding on what headers to get...I'm a little confused what is better stainless steel or ceramic coated? from what i've read the best possible setup would be stainless steel base with a ceramic coating on that but i haven't been able to find it. So assuming there isn't that, which one would be the better of the 2 and does anyone have any suggestions as to a brand or a good site to get them.

Thanks all,
Caleb

your best bet is probably gonna be JBA Headers, they make a v6 header kit. but go ceramic coated, they hold off way more heat than stainless steel and they dont lose their finish like the stainless does either

Stainless without coating is better than coated mild steel. Agree that JBAs would be a good bet.

I heard that jba even makes a titanium cermaic coating on their shorty headers is that true? and if so would it be worth the difference in $ between the stainless steel and the silver ceramic?

I've heard there isn't much power difference swapping to the shorties. How do you all like yours?

there are some nice ones for sure. i couldnt see spending the extra couple hundred. my 100.00 shorties go into a 2 1/2" collector too

to get a thumbnail, when you write your post before you submit it, scroll down a little to the next box, hit manage attachement button, it will open browse window, find your pic, open it then hit the upload button, when its ready it will say close window then hit the submit button on the very bottom of the page

i recently added headers to my v6 added a little bit but theres restriction from the cats so not much to be expected from it, it does have a little more of a throatier sound to it though which i like.
