Default x-pipe or h-pipe

okay i have dual flowmasters and bbk headers. i was wandering what would be better h pipe or x pipe, and what would be the difference in sound and performance. ppl say that xpipe adds more power and sound, h pipe does squat, what do you guys think

...performance wise, x-pipe outperform the h-pipe, but for the sounds..i like H-pipe better, as they sound mean, and more like real mustang, real muscle car..if you like to listen to your exhaust, take H, the difference in performance is minimal.

im with untamedpony the differance is minimal but the sound is much better the x pipe will give you more of a popping sound in rpms any higher than idle some guys say it sounds like a ricer but if you like that sound and want the little extra hp then x if for you but i went with the h pipe couldnt be happer and my h pipe only cost 52 bucks

ya im about to instal an x-pipe and i looked around what the difference is and who uses them, turns out nascar (not a big fan of it) uses them in their cars better free flowing, as for h- it has to work its way around through that middle pipe connects the other 2 exhaust pipes. all in all its what ever you like the most its your car.

H-Pipe sounds better, X-Pipe will give you 1-2 extra horsepower, go with the H.

will the stock h pipe off an s197 gt work on my car with a magnaflow catback system? will the h hook directly to the my stock headers and not mess up the cats?
