Default Fyi '05 shaker 500 to '07 shaker 500

I just recently won an '07 Shaker 500 on e-bay to replace my '05 Shaker 500 that had the colors wore off of the buttons and the cd skipped. The swap worked fine, thanks to PCFRISCH for the install instructions, except for the antenna hook up. The '07 Shaker had a different antenna hook up and you will need a antenna adapter. I found one at Wally World for about $10 and everything is working great.

Oh, and one thing I forgot about the adapter, it had 5 different plugs and they were labeled with different vehichles, the Ford one would not plug in, I had to use the chrysler one.

Good deal! Why do they always change adapters? To make things more difficult.

What was the brand and part number for the adapter?

I really do not know. It was in the stereo section of the automotive dept. of Wal Mart labeled attena adapters. There were two sets of them in the pack and only one of them will plug into your present attena cable and only one will plug into the new stereo, which was the crysler one and not the Ford one. Otherwise everything worked very well.
