Default tie rod end fixable?

well just recently i just got in a car accident. it was rainy and i took a left turn. and i lost control and i had no choice but to drift off the road. which i did. luckly no one got hurt. but my car got a small damage.

need new radiator. already did that.

need new tie rod.

tie rod is pretty much bent when i hit that curb. do u think i could knock that tie road bak to its place? will it be all right?

my dad is trying to find a to save much money as possible

id rather just get a new tie rod...

you could, but I wouldn't. Steering and brakes are not the place to "save money", replacement parts are not that expensive.

You are better off getting a new tie rod. Aftermarket parts are reasonably priced.

I had a tie rod break on mountain roads in a Taurus about 10 years ago (lost steering control on the passenger side, no one was hurt, luckily). I suspect Ford parts are somewhat marginal to begin with in some areas. If it’s bent, replace it, don’t mess with safety.
