Default Think I can get away with 11 PSI and no intercooler?

I bought a supercharged tune from VMP a few weeks ago and when I ordered it I noticed that Justin can write tunes for high boost, non-cooled applications. He's got Dyno results up to 14 PSI Now I wouldn't push it that far but in the short term and certainly considering the economy, a $100 for a boost pulley that takes me from 7.5 PSI to 11 and up into the 300 RWHP range is certainly enticing. I still plan to get a water/meth setup when I can afford it but in the meantime how do you think the car will hold up with street driving and the occasional drag race?

I wouldn't do it. Wait until you have the meth and then up the boost.

Sounds like one of those "Hot chicks with STDs moments". Ok simple question: Do you still want to have a working car at the end of the day? IMO I wouldn't do it. But then again, if I destroyed my V6 I wouldn't really care cause the junkyard has a complete 4.6... But that's IMO. Choose wisely!

I'd defintely do a meth kit or intercooler if I was going to be running 11 psi on a stock motor...

I have the water/meth on my V6 and it works (no FI yet ). It will definitely give you peace of mind when you add the blower.
