Unhappy 2005 Mustang V6 TPMS Sensor? help please

Hi guys

Im very frustrated. the ford dealership told me that the 2005 mustang has a TPMS sensor that i believed did not start until 2007+. Im getting new rims+tires and the dealership told me to buy new sensors, which would cost another couple hundred dollars. But does my car even have them to begin with?? getting new rims and tires is becoming a huge ordeal ><

is this guy at the service department just wrong? please help

+1

That's why I'm glad I have my 2005. My daddy taught me to use a tire pressure gauge!

Thank you guys for the quick responses. I hate when people at the dealership don't know what they are talking about.

Thanks again.

I have an 07 and just left the sensors off. The lights flashes when you start the car, but the it goes away. No big deal.
