 Pinion flange install
I'm getting ready to up to an 8.8 and have to change the pinion flange to the cobra flange, is there any trick to installing the new one? I heard something about some crush sleeves ( I think that's what they are called ) not to damage, but I heard you have to really torque like to 200-250 to damage sleeves. any input greatly appreciated. I don't see that it will be a big deal, had to use a hrmonic puller to get the old flange off.
