The xcharger is a good supercharger for the 6. Its expensive but its a fairly easy install and is reliable. It will bring you up around 100hp which will allow you to compete with most nearly stock gts. Before you add the supercharger, you first should upgrade your exhaust. Not only will this add a little power and sound, it will allow the air to flow better. Your suspension also needs some work. At least get the gt rear sway bar to allow you to handle better. Brakes also wouldn't hurt, you need some way to stop all that power. If it was me, I would also get a 8.8 rear end with gears. Your 7.5 will support the power fine, but with the 8.8 you'll have a beefier set up and the gears and tlok will really help get the power to the ground. Finally, the driveshaft is fairly week, so getting an aluminum driveshaft will cut the weight and prevent the stock one from failing.

Check out our site sponsors. Some even offer discount codes if you pm the particular sponsor and ask nicely. American Muscle and Moss Muscle both are great to work with. Explorerexpress.com is the place that sells the xcharger. V6mustangstuff.com and newtakeoff.com both offer gt takeoff items. If I were you, I wouldn't get the shorties. If anything, just get the cheap ebay kind. Shorties don't do much on these cars, so I would save the money and get something else. Have fun and keep us posted on the progress.

Long tube headers are the best. They are more expensive, but they add the most power and sound better. I'm not sure what brand to recommend, just do a little searching and I'm sure you will find a set you like.

long tubes are gonna cost over 600 and you`ll have to rework your exaust sytem. the shorties bolt right in. 05 horse bought these from ebay and i`m thinking they are the same ones i got.

the upgraded rear end is a widely suggested mod for f/i applications. running an open differential in your 7.5 wont get much power to the ground, and youll be one wheel peeling all the time. you can beef up your 7.5 with gears and a lsd, or you can buy an 8.8 with gears and lock already installed for around 2-300$ more.(thats what i did) i would also reccomend the x charger. its a bit more expensive, but install is simple for a motor head and its very reliable. as we speak an intercooled version of the x is being tested and is soon to be resleased. so far its showing 50+hp gains over the non intercooled x charger. thats what im waiting for...iv already got everything else haha
