I put a Zabtech TB on my 4.0 supercharged ( explorer EXp hi-po ) and dyno'd it today...waste of money, didn't do a thing for HP, I picked up 1/2 a hp... so if your Forced induction don't waste the money.. so, I have a Zabtech TB for sale if anyone is interested in putting it on a naturally aspirated 6er ( 1-2 months old ) paid 275 for it.
guys at the dyno said it's probably because the SC is already pulling so much air.

So you did a pull, got a reading. Then changed the throttle body and did another pull with little or no change? You cannot compare
with a result from a different day or visit. Too many factors involved, especially when looking at 8-10HP. A temp or humidity diff can grab that.

No the car was dyno'd with factory TB and tuned for the X, then I bought the Zabtech put it on, did 3 pulls, all were consistent , no increase so why can't I compare???? humidity was lower and so was outside temp by 13 degrees, then the the tuning pulls!!!! My conclusion is the Zab does nothing for F/I, It does have a quicker response but, then my old TB had 40k on it!

Venom its a Throttle Body not a spacer, on a stock motor its suppose to get 8-12 hp more then stock throttle body
Oh my bad, 8-10 hp is not bad if its legit but for that kind of money you can work on suspension, at least lowering springs and U/LCAs.
BTW how hard is it to install? Maybe one day if i came across one really cheap i wont have to worry about installation.

you can pull your throttle body off in about 5 minutes. which you might want to do anyway just to clean it if you havent yet. intake tube, 2 electrical connectors, 4 small bolts.( if you have a 05 youve got 2 small coolant lines.) thats it.

I have an 8.8, UMI U/LCA's, takeoff sway bar sitting in the garage just waiting to change my gears befor I install it all and I'm already lowered with Eibach, I stripped the paint off the sway bar and powder coated it red to match the U/LCA's, I guess I'll save for an innercooler.

I'm putting at the wheels 292.88 I just round it off to 293rwhp. I was hoping the zab would help and put at or over 300rwhp! I have 6 runs and they vary from 292.55--292.88 pretty consistent. I guess when Explorer Express finally puts out the inner cooler, I'll have to save up!

what kind of HP you getting with the water injection? Is it dyno tuned?
I have ,had, the wetx injection system on on my xcharged 4.0,never dyno'd cause it never ran right for me. I would tell you its for sale but were not supposed to post for sale items in this section.
Hmm, is the zabtech really worth it for non-F/I cars? I was thinking of buying yours, mustangcr8z, but if it's only going to give me 1-2rwhp then I'd rather just get a tune and cai from bama. I was planning on both by the way.
