Default GT500 suspension v V6 stock

I would like to know what is the difference between the V6 and GT500 suspension? More specifically the front and rear springs, the front struts and rear shock absorbers. If one were able to acquire set items for less than 300 is it worth it? Would one need all of those? Is it something one could do in his own garage? Also, how much better is the front sway bar than the one on the pony package?

I'd turn away from the idea of GT500 springs on a 4.0. The fronts are designed for the weight of a 4v 5.4l motor and will actually 'lift' the front of a 4.0 mustang because of the lighter motor. I've seen pictures of it and it's not pretty.

I'm not sure about the sway bars but its possible that they're bigger than even the GT bars, which are bigger than the Pony Package bars.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing. Thought I'd ask just to make sure.
