Any Suggestions? Ideas for my 2007 Mustang v6 auto

Right now I've got a Pypes catback exhaust and a roush cold air intake. I was wondering what other mods i should go for. I was thinking of supercharging it or something of the sort. I've gotten a little into the engine but please, speak english, I'm not very good with specific tech talk,

Thanks in advance!
Adam

lol nice. well there is the FI(Forced induction: ie turbo, Supercharger[SC], and Nitros) rout or the non FI rout.

From what ive looked up and researched etc, a good FI system with about 9-10 psi will cost about 7-10k because you want to be safe and upgrade the weak parts, ie get an intercooler, get a dyno tune, replace your thermostat house, upgrade your drive shaft and rear end. if you have the money do it or use that money to trade your car and buy a GT lol (better modding platform) thats about 100 HP increase right there with higher quality parts. also youll get more gains from each mod you do. ie v6 gets about 20-25 horse power and torque from a CAI(cold air intake) and tune package, while a GT gets about 25-35.

if your not gonna do FI, look into a new rear end differential gear. like 3.73 or 4.10 (gas mileage will drop) also start doing suspension, sway bars strut braces, shocks, springs, bushings, control arms, various supports etc.

you could do more to your exhaust by getting headers, and high flow cats (if you dont already have them)

and also get new Camshafts. they sound really cool and add about 30-40 HP

also id consider ordering a tune from bamachips, tilman, or brenspeed
great start plus they will retune your cars cpu for future mods.

Why does everyone say to trade our sixers in for GTs? IMO, if you can make a fast V6 thats something to be proud of. Anyway, I'm in the same boat as you are...I,ve done a couple mods but am not sure what to next. All I did so far was a Flowmaster axle-back and Pypes shorty headers. I like the headers, I dont care what people say, they do make a small difference, with a nice rumble. The CAI was a good start, that'll be my next mod. +1 on the Cams. I would also consider under drive pulleys, FI is really exspensive and NOS is just a bad idea. do as much as you can NA -Cams, UD pulleys, CAI, larger TB, ported/polished heads, headers, dual exhaust, etc. I personally hope to reach 300HP naturally aspired.

As I do I. I dont care either, I like the Pypes, they're a great sound for a good price. How hard are the headers to install? I was thinking of getting them, and are their cats legal?

Headers are not really worth it unless you are going to get long tube.

The X-Charger packages range from $3.8 - $4.5k.

The kit is complete with all parts and custom tune.

Stock 07 driveshaft is strong enough.

You can upgrade the rear end to an 8.8 with gears and limited slip for about $900.

If you don't abuse the car, you can keep the stock rear end.

Sorry, like I said I'm still noobish when it comes to parts of the car. What exactly do you guys mean when you talk about "upgrading the rear end?" Like with the different gears and the limited slip?

Thanks!

That is it exactly. Most people will recommend buying the entire rear axle with the gears and tlok (ie limited slip dif) because it will end up being cheaper and better.

if youve got a couple grand to spend, i would say check out supersixmotorsports.com before going FI, just because with heads/cam and THEN a supercharger, you would have a SCREAMING v6

they got some stuff on there that would blow your mind.

i too plan on eventually running ported/polished heads and a cam
