Default V6 Bumper Exhaust Cutout

I know this was posted a long time ago... But does anyone have the link or the template to cut out the driver's side for dual exhaust?

i just use a CD

heres a tip!

cut it with an aggresive drywall saw.

then take a dremel with a buffing wheel and touch up the edges, looks great!

i made the pattern from the right side, flipped it over for the left. i used a die grinder but you can use a dremel, a coping saw, jig saw, tin snips ect. the plastic is kinda soft and cuts easy. you could even cut the hole using just a sanding drum. work off the body lines on the bumper and you can measure from the frame under the bumper and the lic plate area too. lining up where to place it is the hardest part. i taped my pattern on and sanded to the paper.

I converted my V6 last weekend to dual exhaust and cut the bumper with the template provided. There are chrome exhaust cutout tip covers made for GT's. Does anyone know of a cutout cover that will fit our V6 bumpers so the path through the bumper can be masked?

There is a cutout cover made by FRPP, but to my knowledge it is not for sale individually (it comes with their $700 dual exhaust kit). I learned about them in this thread over at Collective.

This is what I used

Just make sure you measure from license plate opening on both sides.

Good point, you don't want them to be uneven.

I had ford racing dual exhaust put on last week. The bumper looks great the inserts they give go awesome with my silver car I like the look better than the gt bumber that was made for dual if somehow you can get these inserts I would do it.

Babyjordan - Don't worry about the "dumb" questions. I am new also and have already learned a few things from your questions.

Thanks!
