I am looking into getting the v6 handinlng pack and was wondering if it was worth it. I have looked at a lot of didffernt places and it is right around a grand. Is there something better out there for the money and will it void the warrenty. I have the 100k extended warrenty.
It is good. But is it worth paying over a grand? I am not sure. You could get GT-take off anti-sway bars pretty cheap and those do wonders. I'd say look around and find individual pieces from different companies.

I agree dude. I have been lookin at the GT takeoff suspension systems lately and you can get everything but the springs (struts, shocks, front and rear sway bars) for under $500. I don't know about you but that sounds like a deal to me.
2007 Satin silver 4.0-"Sadie"- Dual Pypes Violators, JLT CAI and 93 bama race tune, motive 4.10 gears and FRPP T Lok BEST E.T.- 14.485 AT 94.1
1985 Regatta Blue 'vert 5.0 LX-"Sally" 87 5.0 motor, Holley 600 4bbl carb, edelbrock high rise intake, MSD ignition, 1.7 Roller Rockers, underdrive pulleys, A/C and smog delete,BBK O/R H-pipe, flowmaster American thunders. transformed from a 3.8 to a 5.0!
For what it's worth, check out my thread about the GT Takeoff sway bars. Got both for 50 bucks on Craiglist, put them on, and can't imagine the car handling any better. And saved 950 dollars over the handling package.

well the package has strut brace, springs and shocks which will improve the handling.

Ah, I see. Well, I still feel like the GT takeoffs make enough of a difference to just go with them. Even if you got a strut brace and some springs/shocks separately, can't see that coming out to 950 dollars. I am sure it is a good package though.

Yeah I agree. It will probably be cheaper than that package. But springs do a lot.

i would definately recommend the eibach front and rear sway bar kit, the front sway bar is adjustable for prone to under steer, also to over steer, and neither. after i instaled them they made a HUGE difference in my handling period best thing i have ever bought.
I chose eibach sportline springs which gave the car an aggressive look 2.0 all around and so my tires wont rub, i got the tokico D-spec 5 way adjustable shocks so i can change the stiffness (dampening and rebound) of the car now the car just hugs just need the right camber and a also definately a new panhard rod.

I'm interested in how the FRPP springs do. I already have GT sway bars and they seem to be sufficient for the time being, but in looking at springs i'm torn between the FRPP springs and Eibach Pro Kit.
How do they measure up against each other as far as performance, ride height, durability?
