Default 2007 V6 Mustang with a lot of problems

Hello all,

New member here and I have to say I think this is my new "one stop shop" for info. I have a 2007 V6 that was having "alot" of problems with the infamous wrench light.... on again, off again.

After hours of scouring for info on "P2135" and becoming VERY frustrated. I found this site and there was an amazing number of people with the same problem. Also I had already changed the Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor..... off again,on again AAARRRRGGGHHHH!

I am gonna try the TPS on the intake and a good cleaning of the system.
Any recommendations for a new Mustang guy considering minor HP mods?

CAI? worth it?

Welcome to the Forums! Check out the 2005+ area.
A CAI and tune is highly recommended.

P2135 Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch "A" / "B" Voltage Correlation
there are 3 sensors, 1 decreases voltage,2 and 3 increase voltage. if 2 of the 3 are bad, it throws the mil light. they are housed in the etc module which is part of the accelerator pedal into a single assembley. if any of the 3 are bad, you`ll have to replace the pedal and sensor assembly. is that what you replaced?

Yes that is what I replaced. The whole pedal assembly... But light returned about 2 weeks later. Have since cleaned the throttle body, and light went out on it's own... keeping fingers crossed. But someone said they keep a spare TPS just in case so ordering one tomorrow regardless. Thanks for all the input from everyone. Will update with results. CAI comin' soon. Wanna make sure this is resolved first though.

Also, how do I become a "V6 Member" and a "S197 Member"?

Nevermind I figured it out.
