you should buy a T loc with them other wise youll just spin your tire every time you launch
a rebuild kit would be nice, installtion kit and all...but a 2008 u really dont need it
buy gear oil i used the royal purple.
it dont require a tune however your speedo will be off quite a bit. a tuner will fix that
Thanks for the info I need to look more into it I dont really understand what I need. At americanmuscle.com they have the 4.10 gears but also have two drop down boxes with other options. And how often do you have to oil them can they do that during an oil change? Also isnt there a way to fix your spedometer I think I saw something at am.com that you can buy that will program it to be right with the 4.10 gears.

well best idea would be to buy a cai and tuner first i know you may not want one but if your going to get the most out of the gears you should all you will need are the 4.10 gears and a tlock (power to both wheels) and a good shop to install them and change oil from what i heard at 500 miles you dont have to but its just to clean everything out after you break them in

All the gears that American Muscle sells are for the 8.8 Inch rear end, so if you have the stock rear end, which is 7.5 Inch, you will not be able to buy any of the gears from American Muscle.
