Hey I found out (thanks to 05Horse's help) That shorty headers are nice but don't add that much hp. In his DIY thread he said the livewires and screamin demon coils were a noticeable mod. I can find each for roughly the same amount of money, and was wondering which to get. I want the one that has the most noticeable power gain (and maybe mpg too, i don't really car, as long as there's not a decrease lol)

You know every mod I did (all 3 ) has decreased my MPG! And increased the weight of my right foot It is the darnest thing! Has me a bit worried....


Anyway. I'd go with coil and wires. Heard more performance gains from that than headers. Thought the headers look good under the hood and change the sound of the exhaust (whether it is bad or good is up to you).

I would save up and get the CAI and tune first. It is the best mod for the money, and it is the only one that you will really notice other then the gears and tlok. Maybe then start adding the little stuff.

Ok thanks...that's basically all of the help I need. I was debating saving up for that CAI with tune before adding those things... and you know...I think i'll just save up for that. Sorry I change my mind so much! lol, I just find these things and my mind goes crazy thinking about what I can get lol

We've all been there
The CAI and Tuner really is the better option.

you need to look at the big picture.( actually changed the size of my back tires first off) then i did exaust first, ignition 2nd the cai/ tune 3rd so i could get the benifits of those mods in my tunes and my speedo recalibrated for the tires. now if american muscle wouldnt have me on a 2 month back order on the gears, i`d be jammin.

the coil,wires and headers do very little ,,,for the amoount of money spent. Been there...
$ for$ a CAI and tune will make the most difference in performance.
