Hi,
I'd just like to know if your k&n drop-in filter came with some kind of a sticker that youre supposed to adapt to the frame of the air-box housing? cause i had a few drop-in's before and they always came with a black sticker that i had to adap to the airbox but not this time.

My K&N drop-in filter did not have a sticker in the box that it came in.Don't know if they ever came with one in years past.Mine's been in for 4 years.Hope this helps you.

Should get the red stop sign warning sticker that it is a reusable filter, not to throw it away.

Nothing needs to be adapted for drop in.

i bought one a year ago and it came with the stop sign looking sticker for the air box. i never put it on though,,,,,

I do have those. I was talking about a kind of sticker that is supposed to be adapted into the housing before u drop in the filter, i'm just asking cause when i ordered them to my older vehicles i had to tape those, but i didnt come with it this time.

Ah sorry have not seen those, have done a couple of Honda's they did not have them.

Maybe to block off something?

Long time ago I had one that came with the tape-to seal the airbox--for the mustang 4.0 or 4.6 neither comes with the tape.

when i had my drop in it was drop & go no tape since then i got a AEM CAI bama chips tune(had tune when i had drop in) love my AEM!!!

The newer Mustang airboxes seal up pretty well without the sealing tape.
