Default went to the track yesterday

did about 8 runs on a 1/8 track
i have an 07 auto with intake exhaust tune and a catless h-pipe
i have 255/50-17 nitto 555 tires

my best run was a 9.7661 @ 72.00mph for those of you wondering what your track time is.

that translates to like a 15.00 @ in the quarter

*i do have an exhaust leak so i might've lost a hp or two from lack of backpressure.

Not bad for a V-6. How was your reaction time?

That's a good number, I ran 14.9 with the addition of 3.73 and tlock but it was boiling hot day. 15 flat is great.

I went Friday for the first time and ran a 15.200 @ 92.96. It was 84% humidity though so the DA correction came out to a 14.9 @ 94.

tires i have were so sticky it's rediculous. if you can lay off the hard cornering and such i've heard these tires can last you 20k-25k miles. i get direct pricing on them since i work for discount tire but they're definitely my favorite performance tire for the money.

if you're looking for some track tires for the cobra you have i would recommend buying an extra set of wheels and getting drag radials mounted. they'll take 0.4 off your 0-60ft time no matter what you're driving
