Jet chips have been around for a long time but you'd be better served with a handheld tuner.

what STL said...save your money and get a Cold air intake with a handheld tuner combo, I've learned it's cheaper to get them in a combo with Brenspeed or Tillman or Bamachips.

I've only checked out Bamachips, but other people have ones from brenspeed and tillman racing, and they are quite satisfied

that was my first mod to my 05. I bought a generic CAI and added the Jet chip and it made an improvement over the stock. it changes shifts points and leans out the mixture. this is a good entry level tune. A hand held one should be the next best thing. I wont recommend buying a Jet chip new b/c they cost as much as a hand held one. $80 on ebay is a good deal

Save the money and don't risk your car, get a tuner.
