Default home made push button start

would it be possible to run a 12 or so gauge wire up from the + on the solonoid up to the dash, to a push buton switch.

then ground the other end of the switch to an starter ground useing more 12 gauge wire, and make one of the push button starts?

wouldent it work kinda like the old screw driver trick?

the wires on the $100 push button dont look that thick

this kinda sounds like a pre-post to car caught fire, melted parts no really though, someone who has bought the button should be able to hook you up with all the info and i dont see why you couldnt make your own and save a bunch of money. its gotta tie into the ignition switch i would think. was it ac/dc put one in her car? i`m sure they dont use 12 ga.
