Default Help 05 4.0L Mustang

Does anyone know the proper torque sequence for replacing the crank pulley/damper on a 05 4.0L Mustang?
Thanks

welcome to the forums. i see your gonna do the lots of fun pulley job. i did a post a while back about them, and suggested that the guys with warranty check them out and get it done by fords if they can. alot of them are failing, to the point i think it should be a recall for crappy parts. its not just the stangs either.

It is a pain getting them to replace something that has not technically broken yet.

point well made vlad. but if you see the rubber messed up on the frt of the pulley( like in my pic) its going quickly. a ford mech i talked to said they been replacing them with the signs, but hadnt had one come in that completey came apart yet. its worth the fight for the couple hundred, possable tow on the car and the pain in the butt little job, or 500.00 to have it done

oh I agree. I think it was just the one place i've gone too. Been a tad too busy and the kicker is at am like really close to loosing the warranty (29,500)...actually I think my car is over 3 years. Where can I check when it was built?

The warranty starts when the car is purchased, not when it was built.

there ya go i never had any with my car, but i`d rather do any work myself anyway. i dont mind replacing worn parts or upgrading but i hate replacing defective parts there should have been a recall on the pulleys
