Question X-Charger Upgrades

I have done some research about the X-Charger for my 2005 automatic v6 mustang. I was going to purchase the 7.5" limited slip differential, 7.5" 3.73 gears, motive bearing kit, and 75w140 gear oil with the X-Charger. Do you think with these rear end upgrades my v6 will be able to handle the large boost of power? And by the way, I am not using this car to race, but to just drive around town and gun it every now and then. And is there anything else anyone would highly recommend to add to this list?

Thanks!

That rear end should have no problem with the added horse power of the x-charger. Although I have not heard anything good about the motive gears. Just do a little research into the rear end stuff. I have heard of people going out and finding GT takeoff axles (8.8" 3.73 tlok) and it being cheaper than going the gears route for the 7.5" (when you look at the cost of installation with parts). This is what I am going to be doing in a year or two when I have the funds to get a supercharger.

the 8.8 takeoff is the way to go imo. you end up paying around 300$more for something you can install yourself. instal is very easy and straight forward. did mine on jackstands with handtools in the garage. the lsd is where youre going to be golden...it makes a ton of difference even n/a on the f/i. also, if youre looking for a little more performance..dual exhaust is the way to go..or atleast an axleback. it also requires a handheld or dash tuner so you can recalibrate your computer for the X. after you get the x...may look into a catch can system as well to take care of your blow by in the pcv system
