Id just go with a CAI with a tuner from one of the reputable shops. Without the tuner you are not gonna get the most out of the combo. I did buy a kit like that for my 99 Mirage because of the price. It did add power and fit well but that was for a speed density car not a MAF car. I would think that this intake alone would only add minimal gains. Combine it with a flash tuner and it will be more. The problem is if any vendors can make you an email tune for this intake. If they dont sell it and have it in their possesion they cant/wont make you a tune for it.
Just my opinion save some more and get a big name brand CAI with tuner.

ya, best thing to do is just wait and save up and then bite the bullet on 500.00 for a nice cai/sct/custom tunes combo. when its said and done, you`ll be glad you did

Save up and get a normal CAI and tuner. Otherwise you are throwing away your money.

It looks like the chinese market has found the mustang. On ebay i found header, dual exhausts, and now CAI.
I have the K&N CAI and it is not rocket science its just a hose and a open filter. I have no tuning and to be honest i notice nothing having this CAI. The best way to go is a FRPP performance pack.

I can't vouch for the FRPP but the JLT and Tuner combo is amazing. Look into Brenspeed or Tilman.

I looked at Brenspeed and Bama and they dont sell the AEM brute CAI so they probably cant make a email tune for it. I know you want to feed your power craving but best bet is to save and get something that someone can write an email tune for. Also they are charging $22 for shipping. I used to sell stuff on Ebay. Thats just plain robbery.
Just looked at the Real AEM intakes and I wouldnt buy them let alone a Chinese copy of it. They claimed for both the V6 and V8 a 11.6hp increase at 4800rpm. Gee, two different intakes on two different engines add the same power at the same rpm? Ill pass.

That and I wouldn't not buy stuff from china that is for my car. Why? Oh look up Popstation 3 or Polystation on youtube a review done by a guy named Ashens. It is exactly what you think.

Yeah it is more reliable but again, very little gains. Because it does not require a tune it forces the car to run at the edge of what is safe and what the car can compensate on its own. What kind of gain you'll see? The difference of driving summer vs winter (more or less). Save your money and get a real CAI that requires a tune and get a tuner. Look for a combo from one of our sponsors.

If you want some gains now, buy a GT take-off mufflers. It is way cheaper and you will get more out of it than from the BBK or K&N CAI.
