Like the single axleback by borla, which I have, it does not require a tune. The duel system does not add more power but it will look more "muscle" and be louder. Borla has a big exhaust tip so be careful about the left side of the bumper. You're going to have to cut the bumper a little bit but to directly answer your question you won't need a tune for a duel borla setup.

You shouldn't need to cut the GT bumper. Bit I cannot be sure.

You do not need a tune, and you do not need to cut a gt bumper. What kind of exhaust are you getting that costs $1300? Are you getting headers too?

That is still a very expensive exhaust.

That is a good point that I forgot to make. A piece of pipe is a piece of pipe. No reason to over pay just because it is from Borla.

If I were you, I would take the car to a local muffler shop and have them make you a custom x pipe and run a second pipe down for the second muffler. That should not cost more then $200. Then order the FRPP stingers, Ford Racing Mustang Stinger Axle Back Kit (05-09 GT, 07-09 GT500) at AmericanMuscle.com - Free Shipping!. They are the exact same as the Bolra, just with different names on the tip. That should cut your price in half, and includes installation. A custom made setup is just as good as the factory one, so your car will still sound great.

thanks and that sounds good to me I always like to save money. I wish I didn't get the GT pull off exhaust because it sounds good when you are on the gas but if your not its pretty quiet :/..... So if I do that will I need a tune? and if I do get a tune it takes the pop out of it a little right? maybe I will use the extra money I save and get a new cai/tuner combo

You don't need a tune for the exhaust swap. If you get a CAI/tune, it will add power and make the exhaust a little louder.
