i finally got my pypes shorty headers installed on my stang tonight. so tomorrow i will probably go on a little road trip and see if my check engine lit come on or anything, and also see how the stang runs. and see if it's going to burn more gas now. I still have my h-pipe to get on though.

How do they fit? And do you like them looks and or performance wise? I know its been argued to death over whether they add any power but Ive heard they dont add any to peak but do add some power elsewhere in the powerband.
The Pypes longtubes are really cheap but since they dont offer a cattted hpipe Im leaning towards Kooks.

you wont get any check lights, or burn any more gas( unless your feeling the need to keep your foot in it more, which is very common) once you get the h pipe done, you`ll be happy with the exaust setup.

i agree, and if it adds 5 or so h.p. which it should, you cant really feel that. combined with a few other mods that add 5 h.p. its gonna add up. its a nice visual thing when the hood is open, and just a good feeling

Shorty and Longtube headers are two very different things. Where as shorty headers don't add power, longtubes do, a lot. I read around 20hp from the longtube headers.

went on a small road trip today, to test out the pypes headers that i installed, first they fit perfect and that car seems to accelerate a little bit better the sound didn't really change much at all, I also got 22mpg out if the car this time so that was good. I will have to get my h-pipe on the car before winter comes and see how the car runs then. i really like the pypes shorty headers easy to install and fit like a glove. and they are made out of stainless steel which is great.
