Default Suspension upgrade for winter.

So, I don't fancy the way my car feels in turns and how easy she fishtails when it's raining. I'm not planning on storing her this winter so I will have to invest to make sure she's more stable during those months.

Besides this:

Mustang GT and V6 '05-'08 OEM Complete Suspension Kit :eBay Motors (item 260177672500 end time Sep-21-09 11:51:06 PDT)

what else could I do?

I mean, I guess I'll have to buy some brackets besides this kit, it doesn't say it comes with those. What else will I need (besides screws) to make it work.
And what else can I do to make her stick to the road more? Winter tires? I mean I've had her for 2 or so months now and I've already put over 4k miles on her, so I'm worried about buying tires that won't last as long as regular tires.

Thanks for the help, and I'm open to all suggestions, so don't hesitate to post.

GT rear shocks/springs are the same as V6. Front spring rate on the GT is not the same as the V6 because of the extra engine weight, front shocks are different as well. GT sway bars will make the car handle better on corners.
For winter driving (snow/cold temps) winter tires, extra weight in the trunk. and easy on the throttle.

So it would make more sense just to buy GT front and rear sway bars, and possibly a tower brace?

EDIT:
Would this make more sense?

Correct, swaybars only.
You will need install hardware for the rear. If you search the forum I'm sure you'll find the list.

Yeah, like the screws. That's been said in numerous posts already, like you said.
So those sway bars for stability, but what tires should I go with?

What about these?

Bridgestone Blizzak WS-60

Anyone got experience with these?

Blizzaks are good, so are Michelin Artic Alpines. Just remember they are winter tires... if you run them in summer, you will kill them fast.

I've run these on my 2007 V6 for the past two winters up here in NH (I add 2 50lb bags of sand in the trunk). Average about 6-7k a year in the snow. The Blizzak's are hard to beat. I've driven home 30 miles in near white-out conditions and the Mustang didn't miss a beat. About the toughest thing is getting going at sloppy intersections if the plows haven't gone through. I've got a standard tranny (a must in winter IMO), a quick blip in first and a short shifting into second and I'm going.
