Default i bent an axle, i need help!

ok first off guys this is my first post so bear with me. second of all i have a 2005 v6 just to clarify. so i did something really stupid the other day. i hit a curb and ended up doing some damage. the guys at ford said im going to need a new axle and hub. so im thinking while im at it, why not upgrade to the 8.8 gt rear end. (something i planned on doing down the road anyways). but right now im not in the best of financial situations and money is tight. so im wondering if there is anywhere to get a used 8.8 rear end cheap? i found this web site (Speed Concepts - TO1010 - 2005-2010 Mustang GT 8.8 Rear End Axle takeoffs with 3.31 gears and T-lock (also direct fit on V6 models)) but im not sure how reputable they are, or how reliable the part is. anyone have any advice or knowledge to share? it would be greatly appreciated! thanks guys!

The idea is not a bad one as far as the part goes. Don't forget you need the correct pinion flange for a V6 driveshaft.

I think this will likely answer your question regarding the vendor in question:

I'd try Newtakeoff.com, not quite as cheap, but better reputation.

the 8.8 sounds like a great thing, but if things are tight cash wise, you could pick up a axle and fix it for real cheap for now and upgrade when things are better. its not too hard to replace a axle.
