Default JLT CAI and the dryflow filter

I am planning on getting a dryflow filter before I'll have to clean the CAI again and I've got a few questions.

1) Where would you guys and gals recommend I buy a Dryflow filter?

2) What dimensions should that filter be for the JLT?

3) Because it is the same size I won't need a new tune, correct?

4) When looking at AEM dryflow filters, I noticed that the top of their coned filters is covered, where as the JLT's has more filter there. Now because the surface area is different, wouldn't that affect that mass flow rate? And in turn require an altered tune? I guessing that the MAF takes care of the variation but just a question that I have been pondering.

there you go. I run this filter and a JLT and it works great. no different tune, and cleaning is a breeze. i just tap the filter on the ground and the junk falls out.

And you can buy it from where ever you want.

wouldn't you look at the flow of the filter instead of the size when determining if you need a new tune or not?

Well yes, but the surface area determines the flow.
WARNING science content ahead:
mass flow rate = density * velocity of air * Area
seeing how velocity and density will not change, area is the only variable that will.

i think the 4x9 is plenty big enough to not be a limiting factor. its taking all the air the motor can suck in. even getting dirty( when flow would be reduced) it still runs fine. i would think it would take some real neglect to effect it

The MAF housing diameter determines air flow, not the filter.
