my stang died the other day in the parking lot after I got done shopping, it was 114 that day & it did this a couple of months ago on another over 110 day. my dh changed the fuel filter after the 1st time & it ran like a charm, but we just got back from a 2000 mile trip & I'm wandering if it needs changed again? I have around 50000 miles on it. is it time to upgrade?

I doubt if it's the fuel filter. You might want to have the fuel pump looked at. Sounds like you might be getting what is called vapor lock (air trapped in the fuel system).

maybe hi temps cause it to run lean. Try some Chevron Techron injector cleaner. Perhaps cleaner injectors will enrich en it up some.
