I haven't seen many who have experience with these. The company seems pretty credible so I wouldn't doubt the numbers. I also might point out that you get a core charge refunded if you send yours in so they are cheaper than 1400. I think you are supposed to see even higher gains with the stage 3 and cam.

i was thinking of the stage 3's and the cam set
and then in the future doing the F/I
since thats a mod that will bring alot of HP or half the price
... it would be like 3000.oo fully installed...whereas a supercharger is gonna come out to 6000.oo...

tempting isn't it? their dyno page shows a 4.0 5-speed, with dual exhaust, stage 3 cylinder heads and the regrind cams, Procharged at 14 psi putting out 440 RWHP! take that, Camaro SS

440RWHP from the six???? That'd be sweet!!!! Wonder how much the new cam would affect fuel economy. I'd love to see 400HP+, but I also drive mine everyday and I'd like it to continue to get better fuel economy than my V6 Ford Escape.

I was originally content with squeezing 350 out of it, but then decided I wanted to at least match the Camaro SS and my friends WS6 Trans Am (also 425 crank HP).

It's nice to know that the combined knowledge of everyone on this site makes it easier to find the parts to do it for a lot less $$$$$ than the engine swap I was originally planning.

I'll definitely have to check out those heads.

so this sounds like a good idea then ...
i guess go stage 3 and do the cams since the engine will be all apart anyway...and save the supercharger for another paycheck

yea it does sound good. it all just depends. speed is money...so how fast do you really wanna go? along with the new heads and cam with some piston work, youll also need headstuds, probably a new fuel pump especially if you plan on f/i, and at very least a performance dual exhaust. not sure if a kenne bell boost a pump would do enough to solve that fuel problem you might get but it would be cheaper and easier. also if youre planning on that, youre going to want a new rear end especially above 350hp. that means an 8.8 takeoff w/ 3:73s and lsd or even a 9" if you wanna save a few lbs, youll need a programmer to tune it all and lots of dyno time. new tires every week cuz youre going to be burning through them. add in install prices for everything and it will all add up to a serious need for deep pockets. not trying to discourage you from it all, but thats y a lot of people go with a turbo or s/c because its cheap(er) and easier. good luck tho i really hope u end up with it all...thatd be sick titties

i have the 7.5" with an LSD
but yeah
ive seen the take off 8.8 for under a grand...
i have the GT suspension, sway bars, and the auto tranny
i was going to upgrade the rear, but i just did the gears and that was pretty costly... parts and install for the 7.5" came to almost a grand ...should have gone with the 8.8 takeoff

yeah he says he has 324 hp....that's not just with the stroker kit, that's with alot of other mods, etc.

The only stroker kit I've seen is Tom Morana I think it's a 4.2 or 4.3...can't remember how much money or anything. I really want the heads and cams but I don't think I could afford it...well I could but I'd spend like a lot of money that I probably shouldn't.

yeah, ive only seen the morana 4.3 stroker kit as well, but its weird, cuz on the site you click on 4.0 stroker kits 2005+ mustang and it says 4.5 stroker kit at the top, but the product itself says its a 4.3. i always thought the 4.3 kits were for the old 3.8's

I asked supersix and the guy said they did not offer one for the v6. He said he didn't know of any others. I would like to find these kits. That would make a nice power addition to the v6.
