This is just what my O5 Mustang is doing. It shudders and seems to suffer torque loss going around turns and sometimes going uphill. Is this an indication of low fluid level or perhaps something worse (fried clutch plates, perhaps?) 98,000 miles but still under Premium ESP.

God I hate sealed transmissions.

desertpony, if you're under the P-ESP I would'nt hesitate to take it in for their review. At best it needs servicing. At worst it needs warranty repair . . .providing you get to the dealer before the warranty expires. In either case you're out the $125 for the flush plus the warranty deductible. I think the Premium ESP covers all internal parts of the transmission, plus the converter.

BTW - Welcome to AFM.

it cost me 143.00....i didnt have any problems before i took it in, and its been fine since. i got about 4000+ since the change. even though it cost a bit, i thought it was a better idea to replace the 14 qts instead of dropping the pan and replacing 5 qts. after seeing what came out i`m glad i did. now that i did that, i might drop the pan myself before too long, then the next time around i`ll take it back for another complete flush. it might be cheaper right now, the price changes with the fuel and oil prices.
