I'm close to hitting 30k miles and plan on getting a tune up.

I want to change the automatic transmission fluid and filter. How much should I expect it to cost? Should I get it changed or flushed?

Also, should I change engine coolant, and flush the system? If so how much would that cost?

Finally, I want to change fuel filter? How much would that cost?

I'm a noob when it comes to stuff like this so doing it myself is not a option.

tranny change ranges from 100 to 150 with new filter

oil change 20 bucks

oh another thing instead of changing the fluid or besides changing ti you should get a better thermostat i believe its a 180 or 160 one i forget...

Why are you changing the trans fluid already? Im not saying its a bad idea or anything. I just always thought you could go like 70k on that stuff. Oh and its only around $130 or so and you might as well get it flushed. Cleans out the fluid in the converter that way.

ya the trans flush would be good. my car hadnt been done when i got it at 44k and i did it around 50k, it was pretty dirty by then. you dont need the filter changed on the trans till about 100k. its not like a oil filter, more like a screen. replace the fuel filter.

Get fuel filter from dealer for about $15 bucks takes about 15 Min depedning on your work style.

I would just go with a change becuase a flush cost almost $200 dollars for each system while a change only requires fluid.
