Default How do I lower just the rear-end on my v6?

Having searched through so many posts that I'm seeing double, I finally decided I'd just ask for help!

I have the 2006 V6 Prem VERT with the 18" fanblades. I hate how the rear-end sticks up in the air. I use my stang as a daily driver. I'd like it to handle well and be smooth on the road without sticking up in the rear-end. I also don't want to spend more than $600 to fix it.

I've seen the Vogtland leveling kit, I've looked at GT suspension takeoffs, and I've read through the options with Steeda and H&R.

Can I just put a pair of vogtland GT springs on the reart? What can I do that will work and not turn my Mustang into a lowboy or a boxsled?

Thanks in advance!!

You could find a 1" or 1.5" springs and put only the back ones on. If you do front and rear, both will be lower and look better.

If I put 1" or 1.2" lowering springs on the front and rear, isn't the rear still going to be higher?

I looked at the Vogtland leveling kit supposed to 1.2" rear & .8" front. I imagine I'll need new upper and lower arms?

I did just rear and added GT vert stabilizer bar with the stock 16"'s, extremely happy with the results. You may want to measure gap/ride height with the 18"'s first.

I installed the FRPP lowering springs in the rear only, lowers the car 1.5"in the rear. Stock front gap 2", rear 3.5", so now the car is level.

Transfers some more weight to the back, gets rid of the rear gap, improves handling.

I'm not a suspension expert but have seen no issues with tire wear.

Do I need to change or add anything else with those rear springs?

eibach h&r steeda are great springs that will lower your car, i went with the sportlines that lowered it 2". hardly any wheel gap and the rear is down not all up in the air when it comes stock
