If you already have dual exhaust you will still need to get a shorty midpipe. The headers them selves will run you about 6-700 bucks and the midpipe prolly another 150. I personally dont think its worth it. Unless you are going to do something radical i.e. supercharger, heads, cams, etc. i wouldnt bother.
I would recommend the shorties just because. I got them just cuz i always wanted headers

If you do get shorties shop around. I bought Pypes because they were a little cheaper than others but still a good name. I've heard that JBA's are good but idk. I think thats what Shelby uses.
As far as installation goes, i got scared and had the ford dealler do it. cost me 250 for the headers and 170 to install.
Hope this helps.
