Default Bama tunes adjustment questions

After 7 weeks of waiting I finally got my CAI and tunes from Bama. I tried the 87 perf. and was unimpressed. No real change. Loaded the 89 torq tune and after adjusting trans shift points, I like it. My question is where does everyone run their timing at. It comes loaded at 0' I think. Car is a stock 06 with pony pack, and auto trans. I like the torq tune but it still feels slower of the line then it should. I dont know if elevation might play a part at 4500 ft. Thanx for any help/advise Bill

I would advise leaving it as it is. The guys at bama really know what the best settings are. I have the tune from bama and am very pleased.

You wont feel much if any seat of the pants change with an 87 tune. But your MPG will so up some. The tuner values for timing being 0 only mean its been shifted from the tuned value by zero. Its a delta not a absolute value. Best to leave it all alone.
