Default New and need some help please.

Hello long time stalker first time poster, I have an 05 v6 auto mustang and i'm thinking about getting the tuner and cai pakage from bamachips. (i won't bore you with how to set it up) the question i have is that i had to get my pcm replaced on my car because it won't start turn the key and just green lines where the odometer would be, anyways long story short will it work with a new pcm ( the calibration code that is) i tryed to email bamachips but no response any help is welcomed, and thanks

What you may have to do is get the tuner and use it to pull the strategy. That's what Doug (or any other tuner) would need if you don't know the PCM code. He could then build the tune and email it to you and you can upload it to the device with Liveload.

if your new pcm has the sticker with the code on it, you can use that to get the new tunes. your tunes with your old code wont work. if you dont have the sticker, you can pull the code off the computer by plugging in the tuner, hit system info if i recall and follow the promps. the code on the sticker has 4 digits, and the code off the tuner has 7, which is a little better since you have a tuner the tricky part is the tuner has your old stock tune locked on it. so if you werent able to return it to stock before you changed the computer you might have a issue. if you have the tuner registered with sct, they might help you on on that issue. BTW, welcome to the forums

when u plug in a tuner to the car, it can read all the pcm info etc. what i would do is call bama during business hours (they = horrible over email... at least that was my experience) and explain to them. im sure they can work something out. your offering to pay them 600 dollars.
