Hi guys, I just ordered an SCT X3 tuner from Bamachips and I know I can use it on my car to read the OBD II codes. I also know I can't use it to flash my tunes on other mustangs. (unless returning mine to factory)
What I am wondering is if I can still use this to pull codes from any other car with the OBD II system even though it will be set for use on my car?

Any Ford/Lincoln/Mercury OBDII vehicle (including Mazda, Jaguar etc.).

Thanks for the info, stlwagon. I have a code reader that works on almost every make and model. I was just thinking that if the SCT would work the same I could give the other one to my dad to work on his stuff.
Oh, well. You can't have too many tools I guess.
